[DebianGIS] current state

Havin ethc been released, I think it's time to see what is the current
state of D-GIS.
Among the crucial packages, these are up-to-date in sid (thanks Frankie!!):
gdal
proj
qgis
grass
geos
Of these, qgis, grass and probably geos are expected to release a new
minor (bugfix) release soon, so a little extra work will be necessary.

These are not up to date:
postgis (now at 1.2.1, 1.1.6 in Debian)
mapserver (now at 4.10.1, 4.10.0 in Debian)

There is a number of packages whose packaging would greatly improve the
usefulness of D-GIS. This is my list:
Ossim
OpenEV
TerraView
uDig
gvSIG
PostLBS
MapStorer
ParaView
Visual Terrain Project
On some of them work has started, some appear simple to package.
Feedback would be welcome on this.

BTW, I have edited the d-gis wiki page.
All the best.
