Ok, just as long as there is no confusion, as the 6.0.1 cvs is still
open and a bug fix version will be released as 6.0.2. 6.1 will be
released as 6.2.0 at some point.

Is keeping the version number 6.0.1+cvs.. to prevent the 6.1CVS package > 6.1.0?
AFAIK, there will not be any 6.1.x releases, just a 6.2rc series before
the 6.2.0 release. So could it safely be versioned 6.1+cvs20051206 ?
6.0.1+cvs is slightly misleading.
