Package: src:gcc-15
Version: 15.2.0-3
Severity: important

Dear maintainer: After the upload of gcc-15 for unstable today,
these are the sizes of minimal buildd-type tarballs:

-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 157653539 Sep  4 10:51 bookworm.tar.gz
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 161388299 Sep  4 10:51 trixie.tar.gz
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 163194032 Sep  4 10:52 forky.tar.gz
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 567771684 Sep  4 10:53 sid.tar.gz

This most probably happens because several executables in /usr/libexec/gcc/x86_64-linux-gnu/15
are not stripped as expected:

$ cd /usr/libexec/gcc/x86_64-linux-gnu/15
$ file * | grep "not stripped" | cut -d: -f1
cc1
cc1plus
lto1

Thanks.
