Bug#190791: gcc-3.2: random failure
Package: gcc-3.2
Version: 1:3.2.3-0pre9
Severity: important
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1
This version of gcc-3.2 fails randomly, like
{standard input}: Assembler messages:
{standard input}:20570: Error: value of 7f3ffab00deb1268 too large for field
of 4 bytes at 00000000000009a2
or
xf86Init.c: In function `InitOutput':
xf86Init.c:898: internal error: Segmentation fault
or
midispcur.c: In function
iDCRealize':
midispcur.c:350: Internal compiler error in verify_local_live_at_start, at
flow.c:586
(it's interesting that the last kind occurred three times in a row in a
pbuilder build)
If I continue the build, the same file doesn't fail again, instead it fails
randomly a while later.
This is a regression over 1:3.2.3-0pre5.
Let me know if I can provide any more useful information, but I'm afraid the
randomness doesn't make that easy.
