Restarting did not help. I picked a completely new username which did
not exist before. Here is the content of file "ldapscripts.log".

Are there any further logs to check?
To me it looks like LDAP does not work. Any action, also deleting a user
gives an error message with LDAP.
However, in Plinth the diagnosis runs fine:
