Fortunately, in the difficult use case (non-box-users trying to access
box services) we probably don't care about SMTP and IMAP, unless we
expect FBX users to offer email to their friends.
I'd bet that there's some way to leverage SRV records for hosting
multiple XMPP services on a single machine, but different hostnames. I'm
not an XMPP expert, but if one could chime in and confirm/deny my guess,
I'd appreciate it.
What other protocols are likely to require interaction from non-FBX
users? Probably any file-sharing system, ssh, bittorrent, etc.. What
else?
