Like Paul, I encourage you to consider packaging this font for Debian. Although the licensing terms are not ideal, they are ok for distribution with Debian. The "progress" you mention really isn't: Debian has its own set of rules for what it considers acceptable to distribute, and (theoretically!) if unacceptable to Debian then it would still be unacceptable regardless of Github and Google finding it acceptable for them. I have now made Dave Crossland aware of the potential issue with flagging their distribution of the font as being licensed as "SIL OFL 1.1" which is seemingly wrong (possibly a simple mistake, but maybe a more relaxed interpretation that Paul and I apply here): https://github.com/googlefonts/atkinson-hyperlegible/issues/1 Kind regards, - Jonas -- * Jonas Smedegaard - idealist & Internet-arkitekt * Tlf.: +45 40843136 Website: http://dr.jones.dk/ [x] quote me freely [ ] ask before reusing [ ] keep private
