Dear folks at Debian,

You can be part of a unique opportunity to reach thousands of free
software developers and people interested in ethical
technology. LibrePlanet (https://www.libreplanet.org/2020), one of the
most recognized free software conferences in the world, is attended by
a vibrant, diverse community of developers, policy experts, activists,
students, and users who care about the intersection of technology,
education, and digital freedom. With past keynote speakers including
Edward Snowden, Sue Gardner, Cory Doctorow, and Bdale Garbee,
LibrePlanet is known as a banner event with a one-of-a-kind audience,
growing year over year and typically seeing 350 to 450 attendees, with
thousands more watching conference sessions online. It is also one of
the only technology conferences to run its infrastructure entirely on
free software.

The Free Software Foundation (FSF) is working hard organizing
LibrePlanet 2020: "Free the Future," which is to be held on Saturday
and Sunday, March 14 and 15, 2020, at the Back Bay Events Center, in
Boston, Massachusetts.

The conference is funded and staffed by the Free Software Foundation,
a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity, and we need your support to make this
edition of LibrePlanet the best yet. Will you join us at LibrePlanet
2020 as an exhibitor?

LibrePlanet offers tremendous visibility, allowing you to showcase
your support of free software to users, developers, and potential
employees. While everything you do may not be free software, it is
likely that a substantial portion of your organization relies on it in
some way. Sponsoring is a great way to give back and support the
community that continues to make and improve the pool of software
available to you. Conference sponsors and exhibitors are able to
engage all the attendees and organization representatives at the
two-day event, thousands of viewers who watch online, the FSF's 4,500+
members and 180,000+ subscribers, and nearly 20 million unique Web
visitors who visit fsf.org, libreplanet.org, and gnu.org each year.

In addition to event logistics, sponsors fund gratis admission for all
students and travel/lodging scholarships to help speakers and
attendees who would not be able to make it otherwise. This year, we
hope to do even more with your support. You can also be confident in
our financial stewardship and responsible use of resources -- the FSF
has been thriving for over 30 years, and we have the highest rating
possible on independent nonprofit evaluator Charity Navigator (4
stars).

Please find more information on LibrePlanet sponsorship and exhibitor
opportunities in the conference prospectus at
https://libreplanet.org/2020/sponsors/. To sign up, visit
https://my.fsf.org/civicrm/event/info?id=88&reset=1. If you have any
questions or are interested in other ways to support the conference,
please let us know at campaigns@fsf.org.

Thank you again for supporting LibrePlanet and the free software community.
We hope you'll consider exhibiting.

Sincerely,
j.
