Bug#1119335: elpa-magit: Update to newest version at ELPA
Package: elpa-magit
Version: 4.3.8-1
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
Please, update the Debian package for magit to the newest version
available at ELPA (4.4.2) [1].
The version currently in sid (4.3.8) has a bug that makes the usage of
magit pretty annoying (cursor jumps when saving files under magit
control). This has been fixed in the upstream commit 406a3094 [2]. The
bug was introduced in version 4.3.7 and fixed in version 4.4.0.
Best,
Rafael Laboissière
