Indeed that issue is why I mention the other possibilities. At least as
far as stable releases go, I think we'll have enough notice to change to
a different strategy if emacs gets fussier. Luckily with the newer
dh-elpa setup we don't need to do any elpa-* package rebuilds to change
those scripts.
