Bug#948236: elpa-org: org-notmuch.el disappeared
Package: elpa-org
Version: 9.3+dfsg-1
Severity: normal
My .emacs used to load org-notmuch.el, via
(load "org-notmuch")
but that line stopped working. It seems that elpa-org 9.1.14 had the
needed file,
/usr/share/emacs/site-lisp/elpa-src/org-9.1.14/org-notmuch.el
(see the list at
<https://packages.debian.org/buster/all/elpa-org/filelist>),
but the newer elpa-org 9.3 does not
(see the list at
<https://packages.debian.org/bullseye/all/elpa-org/filelist).
>From poking around in the upstream org-mode git repo, it seems that the
upstream file is now called ./contrib/lisp/ol-notmuch.el (i.e. with
"ol-" instead of "org-" as the filename prefix). Alas, my git skills
are too weak to say for sure.
Because of the (possible) name change, the -notmuch.el file didn't make
it into the current Debian package?
