Package: dh-make-elpa Version: 0.13 Severity: wishlist Emacsen team members spend far too much time doing the same updates to multiple packages. dh-make-elpa should have a 'refresh' subcommand (to follow dh-make-perl) which does it for us. I have not looked at how dh-make-perl handles this, but I suspect that elpa packages are less uniform than perl libraries. Thus, I'd suggest that this command just have a list of common updates that it would apply conservatively. For example, if a package has an "Enhances: emacs24", it would change it to "Enhances: emacs25". And it can update the Vcs fields if --pkg-emacsen was passed. It shouldn't bump standards-version because there are too many non-elpa things about a package that might need to be updated. I'm not sure about debhelper compat level. -- Sean Whitton
