        Emacs meets the standards just fine. The bundled docs,
 however., a re not free. I understand these are merely aggregated
 works -- pr else the GPL would have applied to everything.  I am not
 sure what the problem is about removing non-free bits from the
 aggregated bundle and retaining only the free bits?
