XEmacs21 GNUS uses acroread as default PDF viewer
Hi,
By default Gnus distributed with the xemacs21 package in woody uses
acroread as the PDF viewer. As far as I can tell this is via the
mm-mime-data-default variable in the mm.el library (but I am not
certain, Gnus has always confused me a little some of the time).
Since acroread is not available in Debian, and probably will never be
for the forseeable future, is it possible to have the default be something
else (xpdf is what I tend to use)? My /etc/mailcap does not suggest
acroread for PDF either, so that does not seem to be the problem.
Is this a bug? Or should I be looking to fix it elsewhere?
My installed xemacs21 packages are:
$ dpkg -l 'xemacs*' | grep ^i
