gnuclient and emacs21?

        Hi there.

I'm trying to run gnuserv with emacs21, but it's not working.

I start "M-x gnuserv-start", and it seems to work ("Loading
gnuserv-compat...done" on the minibuffer). But when I try "gnuclient file"
on a different tty (either different screen window ou another "real" tty),
it exits immediately and I get the following on the emacs window:

error in process filter: Wrong number of arguments: #[(&optional tty terminal-type) "ÂÀ^HÁ D#\207"[tty terminal-type make-device] 5 "Create a new device on TTY.
TTY should be the name of a tty device file (e.g. \"/dev/ttyp3\" under
SunOS et al.), as returned by the `tty' command. A value of nil means
use the stdin and stdout as passed to XEmacs from the shell.
If TERMINAL-TYPE is non-nil, it should be a string specifying the
type of the terminal attached to the specified tty. If it is nil,

And that's it. The error apparently is shown on the video, not on
the emacs window itself, because it goes away when I press any key.

Does anyone know what's going on? It also doesn't work emacs20, but
works with xemacs21.

The same happens when I use "-q".
