Bug#1004896: efibootmgr: please provide some automation
Package: efibootmgr
Version: 17-1
Severity: wishlist
Dear Maintainer,
Please consider providing some level of automation of running debian
with efistub as part of the package.
There is a very nice write-up with example config files and scripts in
the debian wiki https://wiki.debian.org/EFIStub
I imagine there could be a file in /etc/default/efiboot with entries
such as
EFI_ADD_ENTRY=1
EFI_CMDLINE_LINUX=quiet add_efi_memmap
EFI_COPY_INITRD=1
EFI_COPY_VMLINUZ=1
Thank you,
Robert
