control: found -1 2.10.65+deb10u1 thanks Hi Wolfgang, On Wed, Oct 02, 2019 at 11:08:57AM +0200, Wolfgang Schweer wrote: > Package: debian-edu-config > Version: 2.11.2 > Severity: normal > > While testing Debian Edu 10.1 installation media I noticed that the > intended /etc/network/interfaces file modification (to make hostname > updates take effect immediately) didn't work. I think you have the metadata partly wrong, as the Debian Edu 10.1 installation media contains d-e-c 2.10.65+deb10u1, so that we now need to send 'found 941574 2.10.65+deb10u1' to mark this bug found in both versions. (And which you could have avoided by using 'Version: 2.10.65+deb10u1' for this bug in the first place, as then the BTS also marks the bug as found in all following versions.) Is that correct? (Or were you testing bullseye media?) Assuming it's correct, I've cherry-picked your patch (thanks!) into the buster branch and also fixed the meta-data. Please shout^wfix if I'm wrong. ;) > While adding a post-up > stanza to the eth0 entry works upon upgrades via the debian-edu-config > postinst script, the modification fails because d-e-c postinst is > executed at a time when the interfaces file still contains predictable > interfaces names. > > The post-up line needs to be added during d-i finish-install to take > effect at installation time. nice, kudos! -- cheers, Holger ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- holger@(debian|reproducible-builds|layer-acht).org PGP fingerprint: B8BF 5413 7B09 D35C F026 FE9D 091A B856 069A AA1C
