yes, but he didnt, so I figured it's better to upload this to unstable

sorry for the delay on my side. The fetch-ldap-cert patch Wolfgang sent passed my personal looking-at-the-diff code review. However, I still need to test in the real world.

I'll see if that can be done this afternoon. In any case, please upload asap.
