cool! that's indeed nicer!

As sites are different, chances are that the shutdown time (cron job
file) has to be adjusted anyway. While at it the WOL feature can simply
be disabled by commenting the line in the cronjob file.

That said being true, let's remember that this means the admin has to update every machine running Debian Edu, as the wake-up calls come from all machines running.

The cronjob file needs to be touched on diskless workstations, thin clients, workstation installation, servers (and we have several per school, because we distribute services over several VMs).

At first I though: yeah, let's comment out the line in the cron job.

Then I saw machines waking up in the morning nonetheless...
