I just tested the above said (referring to the complete bug history).

http://www.skolelinux.org now forwards us directly into the Debian Edu  
wiki which is a good point to end up on standalone machines.

I have not tested a standalone installation, but by looking at  
cf.iceweasel, the standalone system sets its default iceweasel home  
page to the above URL.

Thus closing this issue, as it has nicely been solved meanwhile.
