subnet change & dhcp (bug ?)

Hi,

I'm running Skole/Jessie in production env. installed with
the 18/06/15 image on real HW. In our school we have ~40 WS
fix IP, 25 printers also fix IP, 160 laptops and a lot phone/devices
eating up IP leases.

My network is assigned from provider as 10.164.88.0/23 thus
I used the subnetchange script right after the tjener install.

In the last days we noticed many laptops (wifi connected with
dhcp leased from tjener) disconnecting and not reconnecting. Some PC are
in a "round robin fashion" unable to have dhcp lease.

I suspect that the IP leases are insufficient. Checking in the
/var/lib/dhcp/dhcpd.leases I see only 10.164.89.xxx leases.

Looking into LDAP (section 79 in LDIF) I see that the dhcpRange
is set (wrongly?) to 10.164.89.1 10.164.89.254.
I had expected a dhcpRange from 10.164.88.1 to 10.164.89.254. Isn't it?

And after seeing this I ask to myself how it is possible that the
fixed WS all of them in the range 10.164.88.1-10.164.88.100
are perfectly working, with correct IP dynamically assigned
via MAC address.

Do I have to modify dhcpRange ? (I guess yes)

Any hist is welcome

Regards

Giorgio
