Re: Raspberry Pi 2 fatclient on a LTSP Skolelinux

Hello,

What is exactly slow using the raspberry's as a thin-client? I cannot imagine that using an ARM developer board as a fat client will be very fast. If you have one, you can easily find out by putting a image on SD and try and do regular school-stuff.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linux_Terminal_Server_Project#Fat_clients

I have very little to no LTSP experience, but I can say that running the same image on a x86 and a ARM cpu will not work. If LTSP is smart enough to detect/solve this, than you may ignore it, I expect this to be easy to find on the internet.
Also, Adobe Flash is not available for an ARM CPU.
