This might be an LTSP issue. LTSP uses some defaults that may cause the 
trouble. Settings can be tweaked in /opt/ltsp/<arch>/etc/lts.conf on the 
LTSP server. Information about default values and configuration details 
should be available in the directory /usr/share/doc/ltsp (pdf and html 
files) on the LTSP server.
