Hi,

now it explodes on removal:

  Removing debian-edu-artwork ...
  No diversion 'diversion of /usr/share/desktop-base/grub_background.sh by debian-edu-artwork', none removed.
  update-alternatives: using /usr/share/images/desktop-base/joy-grub.png to provide /usr/share/images/desktop-base/desktop-grub.png (desktop-grub) in auto mode
  update-alternatives: error: alternative name (/usr/share/images/desktop-base/desktop-background) must not contain '/' and spaces
