Really great:
The iso file is o.k., the installation succeds (tested main-server 
profile only), the /etc/network/interfaces problem is gone.

For further testing it would be great to have an updated 
debian-edu-install package.

rsync doesn't seem to work btw, the message is "unknown module 
'cd-wheezy-test-amd64-i386-netinst'".  Perhaps configuration is needed 
for the new subdir.
