Bug#695107: [patch] Profile preseeding do not work as documented

Package: debian-edu-install
Version: 1.519
Severity: important

The default profile question template name do not match the documented
template name. In version 1.519 an experiment showing the Minimal
profile as an option in the default profile question was introduced, and
thus changed the default template name from debian-edu-install/profile
to debian-edu-install/profile-expert. The intention was to change the
template name if the experiment was an success, but this did not happen
until today.

The patch to fix this in svn and available from
<URL: https://init.linpro.no/pipermail/skolelinux.no/commits/2012-December/119789.html >

This problem should be fixed both for Squeeze and Wheezy, to ensure the
installation can be preseeded.

In addition to the wrong template name, the code to automatically select
good default profile values based on the detected environment always
overwrite the preseeded values, making it impossible to preseed the
profile question. This should be fixed too, and a patch to do so is
available in svn and from
<URL: https://init.linpro.no/pipermail/skolelinux.no/commits/2012-December/119788.html >.

Creating this BTS report to make it easier for the release managers to
evaluate if this fix should be allowed into Wheezy or not.
