I managed to install it nicely under KVM, but that is just for some
simple test and verification.

As you said, simple to use the ISO image under KVM.
XEN is different though.
So far I have not been able to install an Debian Education DomU by using
the CD.
So, I am trying with a very minimal Squeeze and adding the workstation
and thin client server meta packages.
So far with not to good success.
* ldap not configured
* dhcp not configured
* CUPS not installed
Runing the debian-edu-test-install  and comparing each issue with my KVM
installation.
Fingers crossed.. but not to easy for sure.

Would be great if Debian Education also shipped XEN enabled vmlinuz and
kernel. That would make it a bit easier for sure.
