Hi Patrick,the Debian Edu team urgently needs an upload of a new slbackup + slbackup-php version to Debian sid (and squeeze finally). Within the Debian Edu repository I have added to folders based on the SID versions:
slbackup-php (0.3-2.2) slbackup (0.0.12-3)For the slbackup-php package I have worked on patches during this week that fix all open bugs except #646537 (test package with smarty3).
For slbackup there was one imporant fix that is already included in SID/0.0.12-3 (whereas 0.0.12-2 is in squeeze).
The major questions of this mail are two:
o are you still active on those packages and can you take over the upload?
As mentioned above, it is urgent!
o if you are still active but have no time, I will prepare an NMU...
o Or: are you ok with me becoming the maintainer of both packages so that
I can fix the open issues and also work on the code furthermore?
We (Petter and Mike mainly) hope for a quick reply... Maybe also show
up in #debian-edu IRC.
