Bug#656297: killer: Should send emails using DNS/email domain name, not NIS domain name

Package: killer
Version: 0.90-7
Severity: important
User: debian-edu@lists.debian.org
Usertags: debian-edu

I discovered this on Debian Edu/Squeeze. When killer kills user
processes, it will try to send an email to root@$domainname, which
resulted in root@(none) in Debian Edu. The reason is that $domainname
is fetched using the domainname command, which return the NIS domain,
not the DNS domain.

I believe the killer program should be changed to fetch its email domain
using dnsdomainname instead.

Without this change, all emails from killer will bounce and not be
delivered to the intended user.
