Release alpha1 tomorrow 2010-10-24?
A few week ago the bugs blocking our alpha1 test release was fixed,
and the only thing blocking the release was writing the release notes.
The release notes are now quite up-to-date, and I believe we are ready
to publish alpha1.
The current release notes are available from
<URL: http://wiki.debian.org/DebianEdu/ReleaseNotes >.
Any objections for a alpha1 release? LTSP boot should work a lot
better now, and the desktop is slightly better too. LDAP
administration is still in flux and fit as the focus for a future
release.
The d-e-config in svn should be uploaded and included in alpha1, so we
need to test it slighly.
Happy hacking,
