[Bug 1441] New: Laptops not working on thinclient-network (192.168.x.x)

http://bugs.skolelinux.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1441

Summary: Laptops not working on thinclient-network (192.168.x.x)
           Product: Skolelinux
           Version: lenny-rc2
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P3
         Component: Configuration
        AssignedTo: debian-edu@lists.debian.org
        ReportedBy: olea@skolelinux.no

It is not possible to access the web from laptops connected to the 192.168.x.x
network (thin client net)

I can ping IP addresses, but not hostnames.
It is also possible to open (some) webpages based on IP address in the
webbrowser.

KlausAde (comment in bug #1439) :
Laptops must function even in the thinclient-network, anything will be a reason
not to use Skolelinux. Most schools I know do not have the possibility of
having both a 10.0.2.0/23 and a 192.168.0.0/24-network in their computerrooms
and classrooms, they simply lack the needed vlan-switches and enought cables
for this to happen.

In Etch we can use laptops without any problems in the thinclient-network, this
should not be any different in Lenny.
