there is still some noise, but neglectable, thus closing.
<debalance> [12:17:12] pere: gnash writes to xsession-errors each time the
plugin is executed, that ~/.gnashrc is not there
<pere> [12:24:18] debalance: right. as long as that is all, I believe it is
OK.
<pere> [12:24:31] try to visit www.vg.no, which is full of flash ads.
<debalance> only opening the front page gives me 50 lines in .xsession-errors
<h01ger> do you get more lines if you keep the page open?
<debalance> no, but as soon as I klick on any link to get to next page, I get
the next ~50 lines
<debalance> at least 4 lines for each flash ad
* h01ger wonders if the growth has become tolerable
<debalance> the file is recreated upon each login, so that's not too bad
<debalance> though I don't see why any app should complain to .xsession-errors
if a user's .file doesn't exist
<pere> h01ger: I believe the log level is ok now. it used to continue to log
while a flash was running, and that filled up the disk.
<pere> but I agree with debalance, but do not believe we should spend time on
that now.
* debalance agrees
<h01ger> cool
