I did a fresh install with the new image.

Sound on the thin-client works as it should onw, only the wrappers for apps
like gtick and audacity are missing which try to access /dev/dsp directly.

But now I encountered a problem playing sound on the local machine.

KDE logon sound plays as usual.

But then aplay can't play a file, it says resource busy, probalby because artsd
hasn't suspended itself yet.

A short time later, aplay says "aplay: set_params:918: Sample format non
available".

I try kaffeine, which plays the files.
gtick worked.
Webradio www.einslive.de worked.

So far everything looks good, only aplay worries me.
