In Etch, you could leave out the MAC address in the Add Machine form. As part
of the DNS/DHCP changes, I added validation of the MAC address etc. This is
inconvenient for users who upgrade from Etch and still use bind, and want to
leave out the MAC address when adding a Samba machine account using lwat.
