[Bug 1371] DVD: installation hangs, needs ctrl-c to continue

http://bugs.skolelinux.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1371

--- Comment #41 from Petter Reinholdtsen <pere@hungry.com> 2009-12-14 23:03:50 ---
I found the source of the debconf-get message to stderr. This call in the
udeb caused it:

  echo d-i debian-installer/keymap string "$RET" | in-target
debconf-set-selections

Checked, and it seem to be obsolete. At least LTSP was able to install the
correct keyboard even when this call fail. I've removed it in svn.

Further, I believe I found a fix for this problem, by making sure to close fd
0,3-9 when calling ltsp-build-client, and by waiting for the subprocess to
terminate before exiting the postinst script. The fix is in svn, and I have
asked Vagrant to have a look and upload if he like it.
