We've been using 10.0.0.0/22 for a rather long period. This is an
installation where there is 5-6 schools connected by fiber, and then 3
more connected by a vpn-solution.
The only problem we've had is students (or teachers) that creates loops
in the network. Now we're slowly migrating to a several networks withing
10.5.0.0/16, with vlan's withing each network.
On a short term, It's no problem keeping the server and gateway at
10.0.2.2 and 10.0.2.1. There are very few changes to be done other than
the netmask that needs to be done.
