Just as a side note (in case this information is usefull in future):

When I installed the Light Desktop Environment (lxde) on a light notebook
running Debian Sid, this step removed *libfam0* which allows applications to
register files to the fam daemon. 

However, this package (libfam0) is listed as dependency for k3b and other
packages:

dpkg: libfam0: Abhängigkeitsprobleme, aber entferne es auf Anfrage dennoch:
 k3b hängt ab von libfam0.
 libk3b3-extracodecs hängt ab von libfam0.
 libgnomevfs2-0 hängt ab von libfam0.
 kdelibs5 hängt ab von libfam0.
 libk3b3 hängt ab von libfam0.
 kdelibs4c2a hängt ab von libfam0.

(translation hint: Abhängigkeit = Dependency; ab-hängen = to depend)
