Hi, trying to understand your intention:

You want to transfer files from one PC to another?
Both machines run GNU/Linux (Debian)?
You want to connect these computers by means of a
USB cable? (This will not work in most cases).

Instead, you can transfer via USB pendrive, you can use a 
(crossover) network cable, 
or you can even use USB-[W]LAN adapters.
