Do you suggest that to be the official debian-edu answer?

Or are you elaborating on whether it is technically possible
unofficially to do whacky things with a debian-edu installation?

I believe that it is great that lots of people run Linux. But
specifically regarding debian-edu standpoint on skipping Lenny or not I
find it irrelevant to take into account anyone not running debian-edu.

If I install debian-edu, and "upgrade" (a.k.a. "sidegrade") to some
other distribution like Debian Sid, do you then consider me to still run
Debian-edu?

Is it the official opinion of the Debian-edu project that people running
debian-edu + other APT sources still run debian-edu?

I thought that was the case already.

Or do you mean to say that they should have different release schedules,
e.g. to include fancier (but possibly less reliable) GUI applications
while being more conservative with server parts?
