https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=235853 is also a show stopper:
if you use auto proxy detection (which is not even set by default) iceweasel
will hang whenever you open a new url.
But I also experience konquerorer being less compatible and less responsive.
How about Icedove then (or Iron, Opera, ehem...)
