This is the key line.  There is not enough spare room in the volume
group to extend the requested amount.  vgdisplay will show more info
on the volume groups.  Patches to handle this more gracefully is most
welcome. :)

the line saying Free PE / Size is 0
this shows you have used up all available free space.

you must either add more disk. Or reduce some other partition, too gain room to grow the one you need.

df -h would tell you if there are partitions with a lot of free space for you too reduce them.
