Bug#486928: Integrate with etckeeper?

There are several not very good reasons. The etc-in-svk script
already existed as part of debian-edu-config, and I wanted to make it
available for a larger audience, and I lacked the time to rewrite it
as a patch to etckeeper. Also, the etckeeper behavior seemed more
interactive than etc-in-svk. etc-in-svk is desiged to be hidden and
only track changes done, while etckeeper asked for commit messages
when it found changes.

I'm sure Joey Hess might be interested in making etckeeper less
interactive, and to accept support for svk, but as I said, I never
found time ot work on it. :)

See <URL: http://bugs.debian.org/458078 > for the exchange I had with
Joey about svk support in etckeeper.

Happy hacking,
