Not quite sure what you mean by "put the scripts in the right paths".
Installing the package will not activate anything, if that is your
question.

The README contain some info. There is nothing more at the moment. I
would be happy to have a wiki page for this. Perhaps the README
should be moved to the wiki, and updated once in a while directly from
the wiki?
