Sure.  Go ahead.

I am just talking about how to solve this in a production environment.
And I saw this on Etch, where it is too late to fix it.

Some apps are already reported.  Someone (you?) should test them and
get the author to reduce the amount of messages printed from them.

You do not know that, but you know that the users will be able to
continue to use the system, which is more important. :)
