Re: Bug#478472: generates broken source packages

I just tried to create a new debian-edu package with cdd-dev.
So I checked out the debian-edu package from svn and ran "make dist" (in a sid
chroot) which created debian-edu_0.830~svn40716~edu.lenny+1.dsc and
debian-edu_0.830~svn40716~edu.lenny+1.tar.gz
That's strange. A "make dist" does NOT create a *.dsc file.
When trying to unpack that with "dpkg-source -x" I got the following error:
You get only a tarbal that has to be extracted via "tar -xzf".
Could you please be a little bit more verbose what you _really_ did?
The procedure is
1. make dist
2. move the resulting tarball to some _other_ directory
3. tar -xzf <tarball>
4. cd <directory>
5. debuild
If you follow this procedure everything should went fine.
Kind regards
Andreas.
