...and even if you should happen to experience some of the non-general 
bug treatment (Some Debian developers are more "aggressive", expecting 
you to have "done your homework" and not create vague bugreports) then 
don't take it personally. The important point is that filing a 
bugreport, also a confused, vague or even wrong one, is an offer to 
help, and those not recognizing and acknowledging it as such have 
failed, not you.


I recommend using the terminal-based bugreporting tool "bugreport" which 
is found in the Debian package by the same name. It guides you through 
the process and helps including additional data about your package and 
system, valuable for us developers when investigating the bug further.
