Dear Claudio,

as Holger put right, there is no problem to have dual boot PCs - and if
you use the same network card (which seems natural) your client PC will
get the same IP from DHCP whatever system it boots. To my knowledge the
windows system doesn't accept DHCP host names (like dhcp100), so you
either stick to locally set windows host names (in case of windows
booting) or you adapt the hostnames for linux clients to your personal
taste.

There is yet another option of dual boot - without the need to install
linux locally: You could boot over network (PXE), fetch a boot menu
("select from: local system windows | remote system skolelinux") and
then forward to a diskless/LTSP server that provides the Linux system
to your clients. This option was described roughly within this list -
but myself didn't test it so far - so in case you find a more detailed
manual (or write one), please let me know ;)

Kind regards
Ralf
