[Bug 1292] New: netinst fails when a proxy must be used to access internett.

http://bugs.skolelinux.no/show_bug.cgi?id=1292

Summary: netinst fails when a proxy must be used to access
                    internett.
           Product: Skolelinux
           Version: etch-release-3.0r0
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Installation system
        AssignedTo: debian-edu@lists.debian.org
        ReportedBy: klaus@skolelinux.no

I'm trying to netinst a machine on a location where I need to use a proxy for
outgoing http and ftp traffic. But I'm never asked to give this information
during install, so the installations ends up using only packages available on
the cd.

Right after answering "No" to popcon, the machine hangs for about 3 minuttes
while it tries to access internett, this is seen in the log:
Dec 6 11:16:14 profilechooser: info: do we want popcon?
Dec 6 11:16:16 profilechooser: info: popcon: no!
Dec 6 11:19:25 profilechooser: info: disabling mirror selection because of no
network

Might it be that because it is Unable to connect to remote host
(158.36.191.142), is also will not let me manually setup proxy?

I've tried this on both a workstation and thinclientserver, and I'm booting with
'expert'.
