I'm not quite sure how to use lwat to update netgroups, but I can tell you how to check if it is added. The file /etc/exports list the NFS exports and the netgroups used for the exports. I believe 'workstations' is the netgroup used for diskless and "diskfull" workstations. The netgroup program can be used to list all host members. So to check if your netgroup is updated, run this command: netgroup -h workstations
I have two different servers here, one where I can log in on a lowfat client, and one where I can't. The above command give no output on any of the servers... Mvh Bjarne
