Re: Ltsp Diskless Workstation (Low Fat Client)-questions

My ltspworkstations aren't working yet this time around, but with Sarge, you couldn't log in until you had added the workstation as a machine. You would do that in lwat and /etc/dhcp.conf.

I wanted also say that I tried to don't add the option
"nfsroot=/opt/ltsp/" to the file
/var/lib/tftpboot/pxelinux.cfg/default
and the diskless w.s. works anyway.
The wiki say: "if you don't you'll get an error on the client about
not being able to mount /var/lib"
but it boot without problems.

The file path was incorrect on the wiki example.
I corrected it in:
/var/lib/tftpboot/ltsp/i386/pxelinux.cfg/default

PS: no suggestions how to log in a diskless workstation?
Has anybody been able to do it?

Bye.
